Scott Tutty, 27, of Shipton Road, Woodstock, admitted using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in St Aldate’s, Oxford, on September 26. Fined £75, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Ashley Clare, 18, of Colemans Hill, Headington, Oxford, admitted arson causing damage worth £1,397.24 at Colesmans Hill Flats, Oxford, on March 11. Also admitted arson causing damage worth £2,208 at Colesmans Hill Flats, Oxford, on June 10. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Also told to do 150 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay £800 compensation to Oxford City Council.

Simon Boswell, 47, of The Nightshelter, Oxford, admitted shoplifting alcohol worth £30.18 from Tesco in Magdalen Street, Oxford, on December 1. Fined £50 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Miroslaw Szast, 36, of Palmer Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Pegasus Road, Oxford, on October 2. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Norman Gourley, 60, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting £24 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury’s in The Orchard Centre, Orchard Street, Didcot, on November 28. Jailed for seven days.

Thomas Beer, 47, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Banbury on November 28. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Mark Hendry, 37, of Barwell, Wantage, admitted criminal damage to an electronic tag in The Wharf, Wantage, between July 15 and July 21. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 costs.

Naim Khan, 34, of Herschel Crescent, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis and ketamine in Herschel Crescent, Oxford, on June 15. Fined £73, a £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
