OXFORD’S housing masterplan for the next 13 years has been approved by a government inspector.
The sites and housing development plan document earmarks sites across Oxford as part of its commitment to building 8,000 homes by 2026.
It also includes policies on where student housing and houses of multiple occupation can go.
The plan, which has been declared sound by planning inspector Shelagh Bussey, will go before full council for final approval on Monday, February 18.

8,000 homes by 2026??? that will not even cover those on the waiting list now. But wait for the fun to begin when at the end of the year we have millions of Bulgarian and Romanian "job seekers" invading us. All entitled to full UK benefits and council houses (they all know about the single mother scam), I think 8,000 new homes will be just a bit short of the mark.

Failure to get the approval of this vocal group could add £000s to the price of every single home through delays and legal challenges.
