Hundreds sign Christmas market petition

Nearly 700 people signed a petition calling for a Christmas market in Oxford’s Broad Street in 2013.
Organiser Nicole Rahimi, from Iffley, cancelled the Christmas market after a move to the city centre street from Oxford Castle was rejected by the city council.
She says that the lack of passing pedestrians at the castle meant the market was not financially viable in the long term.
