Drivers on the A34 are being warned about a fire causing visibility problems in Chilton, near Didcot.
Firefighters are tackling the blaze this morning in fields close to a farm after 500 tonnes of timber was set alight.
A spokesman for Oxfordshire Fire Service said 12 firefighters were at the scene near Prospect Farm.
She added: “Smoke is drifting over the A34 at the Chilton interchange so we are advising drivers to slow down as they approach the area.”
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
