WITH the temperature dropping, steam billows from Didcot Power Station as it provides power for homes across Oxfordshire.
NPower spokesman Kelly Brown said all four turbines had been operating from before Christmas at the coal-fired power station, providing enough electricity for two million homes.
Didcot A is due to close by the end of 2015 because of EU rules on emissions, and only operates when extra power is most needed by the National Grid.
