Surprise surprise. How that place keeps its late license is beyond me.

Just to point out that the pub had been shut for 15mins prior to this incident. This assault was nothing to do with the pub!

The mind boggles! I might of believed you if you said an hour after the pub shut, you don't have to be Einstein to work out that trouble and the Wallingford Arms are linked in some way or another..

Were you there? If not then how would you know what had happened? the team worked very hard during a very busy weekend to ensure everyone had a safe, trouble free time, any arguments were dealt with quickly and necesary action taken. We can not be held responsible for peoples actions once they have left the pub to make their way home?!?!

Thats alright then we let everyone inside get totally shitfaced we've had their money! and when we throw them out for being rowdy and drunk thats where are responsibility ends what an irresponsible attitude to take. An attitude which will be changed when the coalition government tighten the licensing laws and make the brewery/landlord pay for extra policing out of their own pocket not the local council tax payers pocket!
