THE A34 has been closed northbound near Didcot after a four-vehicle pile up.

Police were called just before 3.15pm to reports of a crash involving three cars and a lotry near as the Chilton interchange.

Three people suffered minor injuries, including one man with a cut to his forehead.

The road is closed northbound from the Chilton interchange and motorists are being diverted off the road, and back on to the A34 at the Milton interchange.

It is hoped the road will reopen by early evening after spilled fuel is cleaned off the road.
