DIDCOT'S mayor has reported 'huge interest' after she put old town welcome signs up for auction.
The minimum bid for people hoping to own one of the seven signs that welcomed visitors for generations is now over £100.
Email bidders have until February 28 to email their maximum bids to Mayor Jackie Billington who has reported there are currently 10-12 bids 'at the £100 level'.
All proceeds from the sales will go towards the mayor's charities - the Oxfordshire branch of Crohn's and Colitis UK and the Didcot Air Cadets.
