DOCTOR Who and Princess Peach were among iconic fantasy figures at Didcot's first Comic Convention.
Hundreds of visitors flocked to the event at Didcot Civic Centre on Saturday for a chance to see some of their favourite sci-fi and fantasy characters.
The event was organised by avid comic book fan and comic book store owner Chris Wickham.
The 38-year-old, who owns Advance Comix in Wantage, said: "It has been an absolutely brilliant day.
"And from the responses we have had - this is definitely something we would like to run again.
"The whole point of the event was to make it completely family orientated and I think with all the different talks and stalls we have here we have achieved that."
Seventeen-year-old Doctor Who fanatic Chloe Bloundele was dressed as her favourite Doctor - number four.
The college student said she loved the community of the comic conventions.
She said: "I love Doctor Who and I love coming to these conventions because you meet people who have this weird passion like yourself for these characters and comics.
"I started making scarves a few years ago and then I though, 'why don't I make one for a Doctor Who outfit?'
"Tom Baker's Doctor Who was always my favourite and over the years my costume has just got better and better."
