An inquest has opened into the death of Michael Collings, who died when part of Didcot Power Station collapsed last month.
The 53-year-old, from Saltburn-by-the-Sea, died on February 23 when working as a machine operator on the site.
His inquest was officially opened at Oxford Coroner's Court this morning.
During a five-minute opening statement, coroner Darren Salter said Mr Collings had been found next to the collapsed building and was declared dead at 4.30pm.
He added that a date would be set for the inquest when further investigation into the collapse had been carried out.
