POLICE have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery in Didcot.
At about 11.15pm on Wednesday a man approached a woman on the corner of Hagbourne Road and Bridge Close, and asked for a cigarette.
When the 24-year-old woman replied that she didn’t smoke, the man became aggressive and attempted to steal her handbag.
He then punched her in the face causing swelling and redness to her cheek and a black eye.
Police would like to speak to the man depicted in the e-fit as he may have information which could help with the investigation.
