More than 250 environmental activists are now camped near Didcot Power Station.
The protesters are taking part in three days of events designed to highlight a need to move away from the use of fossil fuels.
On Monday they are due to take part in a day of action outside the power station.
Activist Hannah Smith, from East Oxford, said: "I have been involved for three years now.
"We say all the issues on our programme here are interconnected.
"Climate change is very real and the most effective form of action is when communities come together for change."
Activists at the camp in Appleford, near Didcot, have been taking part in workshops and talks throughout the day.
