A WOMAN with two children in a Didcot park was attacked by a teenager, police have said.

The victim, in her 20s, was in Mendip Heights when she was slapped in the face by the boy after she confronted him for picking on one of the children.

She was not injured but police are investigating the incident on Monday, October 27 at 2pm.

Investigating officer PC Stephanie Varnes, of Didcot police station, said: "A woman was assaulted by a stranger while she was in the company of two small children.

"This happened in broad daylight in a well populated area so I am hopeful that someone may have details which can assist the investigation."

Police described the boy as white, aged between 15 and 17, with short brown hair and wearing a green top.
