Starlings had two be seen to be believed
12:00pm Monday 19th November 2012 in Didcot
The flock of starlings at Didcot
IT MAY look like a clever advert for BBC Two, but this is a real-life flock of starlings.
Former Oxford Mail photographer George Reszeter took this picture of the ritual, known as a murmuration, often performed by birds before going to roost for the night.
He said of the image, taken near Didcot Power Station: “It was amazing.
“They must have seen the cables and somehow made that two. I have never seen anything like it.”
