Teenager in hospital after motorway fall
12:09pm Tuesday 10th July 2012 in Cherwell
AN 18-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital after “falling out” of a car on the M40 last night.
The man fell from a black car between Junction 10 for Ardley and 9 for Bicester on the southbound carriageway at around 6.30pm.
A police spokesman said it is believed the victim suffered a “medical episode”.
The motorway was blocked in both directions for an hour while the air ambulance landed to take the victim to hospital.
Two lanes of the southbound carriageway were closed until 9pm while police investigated the incident.
