RECYCLING bins provided by Cherwell District Council will be sold at a reduced price next month.
The blue and brown bins will be £10 instead of £15 online or £18 on the phone from December 1 to January 31.
The council's lead member for clean and green, Nigel Morris, said: “We know everyone loves a bargain, especially at Christmas so it makes sense for us to join in the festive spirit and give our own gift to residents with a discounted recycling bin sale at the time when they need it most.”
Batteries and electrical items can be recycled by placing them in a bag on top of the bins on collection day.
