Decision time over disabled parking spaces

PLANS for new disabled parking spaces in Bicester and Chipping Norton have been scrapped.

Oxfordshire County Council proposed creating a space in Moor Pond Close, Bicester, but residents said the road was normally clear of cars.

And it has moved a proposed Chipping Norton space from Middle Row to Lower Market Place.

But two proposed spaces in Woodfield, Banbury, will be put in.

The council's cabinet member for transport, Rodney Rose, will be asked to approve the measures next week. For details, click on the link below.
