A FAMILY is continuing to raise charity cash in memory of their disabled son.
John Sammons, from Ambrosden, near Bicester, will embark on a 880-mile bike ride from John O’Groats to Lands End on Friday night with five friends and family.
They are riding in memory of four-year-old Kye Sammons, who died last year after battling epilepsy and cerebral palsy. The group has already raised more than £8,000 for Helen and Douglas House, in Oxford, and Kidlington-based respite care charity Rosy, which both looked after Kye.
Last week, Mr Sammons and wife Sarah raised more than £600 by packing bags for customers at Sainsbury’s in Kidlington.
