A BANK card belonging to an elderly man was used to withdraw cash in Bicester, after he was pickpocketed in the town centre.
Police have launched a CCTV appeal to find a man and woman who could have 'vital information' relating to the theft.
The 72-year-old man had been shopping alone on Thursday, February 15, his card was swiped and later used to take out cash from a nearby machine.
The theft is thought to have happened between 10.30am and 11.45am.
Investigating officer Pauline Heilbron, based at Bicester police station, said: “We believe that the two individuals in the CCTV images could have vital information that may help our investigation.
“We would like to speak to these individuals, or anyone that knows them."
