POLICE want to find the rightful owner of a dirt bike believed to have been stolen in Bicester.

Officers arrested three 15-year-old boys from the town on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, after the bike was found dumped in Whitelands Way on Monday.

The discovery came after the teenagers, who had been spotted on the bike, fled from police at 3.45am that morning in Churchill Road.

Police want to speak to anyone who may recognise the Dukar bike, which is black and blue with a beige saddle.

Investigating officer, PC Robert Mogridge from Bicester Investigation Hub, said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may know who the bike belongs to.

“As it is an off-road bike, it does not have a registration plate, so we are appealing to the public to help locate the bike’s rightful owner."

Anyone with information can call 101, quoting incident reference 43170255284.

The three boys arrested have all been released under investigation.
