It will be the 11th Sunday Scramble to round off the year and usually attracts classic car clubs and traders in their thousands.

Bicester Heritage marketing manager Philip White said: "We always enjoy welcoming visitors and their vehicles to Bicester Heritage, a site which, when in the hands of the Ministry of Defence, was off limits to members of the public for the best part of a hundred years.

"Now the public come in their thousands to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and meet the dedicated and hard-working folk who are devoted to restoring and caring for classic cars, while enjoying a truly unique aviation experience."
