WORKERS at a Bicester company will spend the day filling in the pieces to celebrate International Puzzle Day.

The 21-strong team at toy and games company Ravensburger hope to complete a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle by the end of the day.

Marketing services co-ordinator Cornee Marlow said: "We all adore completing puzzles, and celebrating International Puzzle Day is usually a fun day at the office.

"Those of us that like baking will be bringing in puzzle-shaped, home-baked biscuits and cakes, and the rest of us will join in completing the jigsaw puzzle we leave out on one of the desks.

"It is great fun, as there is usually one smart person who has been hiding one piece all day just so he can be the one who adds the final piece to the puzzle."

To encourage families across the county to take part, the Howes Lane company has released its top five puzzle games: Colin Thompson's Curious Cupboard, Santa's Final Preparations, Star Wars The Force Awakens, Portrait of Earth and Colin Thompson's Bizarre Bookshop 2.
