A PACK of huskies helped to raise money which will go towards making next summer’s Bicester Big Lunch “bigger and better”.
The committee team is planning the annual community lunch – which attracts thousands of people to Sheep Street every June – and started off its fundraising with a Christmas spin.
Volunteers have been hosting craft markets over three weekends at Bicester Avenue Wyevale garden centre and, with the help of the Karluk Siberian Huskies, managed to raise more than £800.
Georgina Russell, 15, from Banbury, was on hand with her auntie Jayne Dhipps helping with the Huskies, which are from the charity Huskies in Need, on Sunday .
She said: “They are a really loving breed to be around.”
