WORK to repair a hole in Bicester is to resume at 9am tomorrow.
The hole in Queens Avenue, Bicester, emerged today at a drain in the road.
Temporary traffic lights were put in place at the junction of Queens Avenue and St John's Street but have now been removed.
But Stagecoach bus company said work would continue in the morning.
Oxfordshire County Council spokeswoman Emily Reed said: "After inspection by Thames Water of a loose and noisy drain cover at the junction of St John's Street and Queens Avenue they have decided to carry out some urgent works this afternoon.
"Temporary traffic lights are in place and the works are scheduled to finish before the end of today.”
