Three people were taken to hospital after a crash on Akeman Street, near Kirtlington.
Two cars were involved and Oxfordshire Fire and Service said it was called out at 2.19pm.
A spokeswoman added four people were involved and one person was trapped.
Fire crews had to cut the roof off to free them.
A South Central Ambulance Service woman said it was called at 2.22pm and two patients were taken to Horton General Hospital, in Banbury, and another was taken to John Radcliffe, in Headington.
The fourth person did not need to go to hospital. None of the injuries are said to be life threatening.
