A woman was knocked off her bike on a zebra crossing in a hit-and-run incident in Bicester.

The 30-year-old was cycling across Queen’s Avenue at 7.46am on Friday when she was hit by a small burgundy car going north.

The driver failed to stop despite knocking the woman off her bike, Thames Valley Police said.

She was seen by paramedics at the scene but was not injured.

Police did not release the information until yesterday but asked anyone with information to call them on 101.
