PARAMEDICS have rushed a person with a possible back injury to hospital after a lorry and a car crashed at Junction 10 of the M40.

The northbound exit slip way at Ardley was blocked this afternoon between about 2.20pm and 3pm because of the incident.

South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Catherine Morrow said crews had taken the person to Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

She said: “We were called to a road traffic collision at 2.24pm between a car and a lorry.

“One patient was conveyed to Horton General with a possible back injury.”

The exit slip way was cleared by about 3pm, traffic reports said.
