ELECTRICITY has been restored to homes after a power failure this morning.
About 1,800 homes in Yarnton, Bicester and Kidlington were affected when power was lost just before 7.45am.
Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution spokesman Waseem Zakir said: “We had a fault on one of our major circuits for about half an hour. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
He said all power was restored to homes at 8.08am but the company is still investigating the cause of the fault.
