FIRE crews had to cut a motorist free from a car after a collision on the A41 near Bicester on Thursday .

Another patient was taken to hospital following the incident, which happened shortly after 4.30pm.

A spokeswoman for Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “One casualty was transferred to hospital and one was rescued from a vehicle using hydraulic cutting gear and was left in the car of the ambulance service.”

It is believed the patient was taken to the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
