A WOMAN inside a Bicester Co-op was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital after a Fiat Punto crashed into the front of the shop.

Bassett Avenue was shut after the accident, which police were called to at 11.46am, but the road has now reopened.

The woman was treated for minor injuries caused by debris in the crash.

The female driver was treated by paramedics for shock at the scene.

Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said: “There was one female inside the car who was treated for shock and a woman inside the store who had minor injuries from debris.

“She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

“Nobody has been reported in relation to any driving offences at this point.”
