FOUR people were arrested yesterday after drugs police raided seven addresses in Bicester.

Operation Reindeer saw 65 Thames Valley Police officers execute warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A 15-year-old boy was cautioned for the cultivation of cannabis after the morning raids.

Properties were raided in Ray Road, Balliol Road, Lyneham Road, Windrush Close, Roman Way, Winterbourne Close and Hudson Street.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug and bailed until January 15.

A 34-year-old woman was last night still in custody after being arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply.

Also in custody was a 44-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possessing of Class A and B drugs, and a 43-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug.

Det Insp Steve Duffy, leading the investigation, said: “Drugs are a huge priority for us and there is no hiding place for those who are involved in any drug activity. We will continue to crack down on those supplying and trading in them in the area to make Cherwell an even safer place to be.”
