GLAMOROUS mum-of-two Heidi Kelloway will be returning for a celebrity Christmas special of primetime Saturday night dating game show Take Me Out.

The 40-year-old, from Langford Village in Bicester, appeared in 12 episodes of Take Me Out last year, competing against 29 other women for a date.

But the divorcee was unsuccessful in finding love.

Then, in August this year she received a call from the show inviting her to be part of the Christmas special, which will screen on Saturday.

Ms Kelloway, who lives with her children Lauren, 15, and Josh, 12, explained: “I was really surprised to hear from the programme makers again. “They wanted to know if I was still single and said there was a chance I might be invited on again.

“Then I had two weeks to wait until they phoned and said yes.”

She continued: “I was thrilled. In October I took three dresses and went again to the studio we filmed at in Maidstone in Kent.

“It was great seeing a lot of the girls who were in my series and, of course, the presenter Paddy McGuinness.

“We were put up in a hotel and then we spent a whole evening in October filming.”

Ms Kelloway then had a huge surprise.

She said: “We all took our places on the stage and it soon became apparent that the ‘contestants’ were actually celebrities!

First up was former EastEnders and I’m A Celebrity star Joe Swash.

“He was a lot of fun,” she said.

“Then there was a huge roar from the audience as the next celebrity came on and we all saw Keith Lemon bound onto the stage.”

She continued: “He was hilarious, jumping about everywhere – but I don’t know how they will edit some of the things he said.”

During the Take Me Out series Mrs Kelloway went on a date with The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright on the spin-off show The Gossip and has since had a further brush with fame – competing in the popular Channel 4 cooking programme, Come Dine With Me.

She said: “It’s amazing how much I’ve been recognised because of Take Me Out and Come Dine With Me. But it’s all good fun.

“I can’t really give much away about what happens in the Take Me Out Christmas Special show, or even say whether I got a date, but it was fabulous taking part.”

Asked whether she is still looking for love she said: “Yes, and hopefully 2013 will be the year I find it.

“I already have my wedding venue picked out. As for dating shows I’ll probably give up now.

“Perhaps I will go for a game show next time.”
