Border agency arrests

FOUR Bangladeshi men face deportation following immigration raids on two restaurants in Banbury.

A 22-year old man was arrested after checks on staff at Voujon in South Bar Street on Wednesday evening.

The UK Border Agency said he had used a false passport and was in breach of student visa conditions. A 31- and 26-year-old were then arrested at Jaypur Balti Cuisine in Parsons Street for overstaying their visas, along with a 29-year-old for entering the UK illegally.

All four were detained pending their removal from the UK. Another 31-year-old Bangladeshi man was questioned and granted immigration bail.
