Grenade alert

A damaged grenade caused a bomb scare at a building site.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the old weapon caused the fumes at the site in Middleton Road on Thursday. They were alerted at about 12.40pm.

The street was reopened at about 7pm.
