Man sentenced for park attack

BANBURY: An 18-year-old man has been given a community order for attacking a boy in a park.

Dean Reading was sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Friday after earlier admitting one count of causing actual bodily harm.

He attacked a 14-year-old boy in Spiceball Park, Banbury, on October 1.

Reading, of Abbey Road, Banbury, was given 12 months’ supervision, a restorative-justice requirement and told to pay £100 compensation and £150 costs.
