Alan Tite, 56, of The Green, Staverton, Daventry, admitted driving without due care and attention on the M40 northbound between junctions 11 and 12. Fined £60, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs. Three penalty points.

Dale Colley, 32, of Dashwood Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a carriage clock valued at £20 from Sobell House Hospice in Kidlington on March 15. Jailed for 28 days and told to pay £7.50 compensation.

Krystian Hajduk, 24, of Colwell Drive, Witney, convicted of assault by beating in Witney on May 25. Jailed for 12 weeks because, in part, “of previous convictions for similar offences, repeated assault on same victim”. To pay £150 compensation £250 costs.

Slawomire Palestrant, 24, of Colwell Drive, Witney, convicted of assault by beating in Witney on May 25. Told to do 150 hours’ unpaid work. Also told to pay £100 compensation and £250 costs.

Patryk Zdzieblowski, 25, of Colwell Drive, Witney, convicted of assault by beating in Witney on May 25. Given a six-week sentence suspended for a year. Must do 150 hours’ unpaid work and pay £100 compensation and £250 costs.

Pino Aniello, 61, of Witney Lane, Leafield, admitted drink driving in Lower End, Leafield, on October 13, with 75 micro-grammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £215, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Baldev Singh, 36, of Matcham Road, London, convicted of driving without due care and attention on the M40 at Banbury on April 17. Fined £350, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six penalty points.

Craig Arnold, 20, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting four cans of Relentless from Co-op in Banbury on July 22. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Edward Parker, 27, of Spruce Court, Swindon, admitted receiving stolen goods, a Vauxhall Meriva car, between October 11 and 15 in Carterton. Jailed for eight weeks due to “offence so serious, your previous history”.

George O’Donoghue, 29, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, convicted of assault by beating in Abingdon on April 28. Given an eight-week curfew, and told to pay £75 compensation and £775 costs.

Nicholas Miles, 34, of Brantwood Rise, Banbury, convicted of assault by beating in Banbury on February 17. Given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for a year, must do 60 hours’ unpaid work. Also told to pay £250 compensation and £620 costs.

Jonathan Thompson, 41, of Wychwood Close, Milton-under-Wychwood, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress on June 11 in Witney. Fined £120, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
