THREE men have been arrested after two cannabis factories with mature plants were found along with heroin in Banbury, police have said. 

On Friday, June 5, Thames Valley Police arrested three men after carrying out a warrant at 10am in Tithe Court and Foundary Street, in Banbury.

Two cannabis factories with mature plants were found along with a small quantity of class A drugs, heroin.

A 34-year-old man from Banbury was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and has been bailed until July 14.

A second man, 35, from Banbury, was arrested for possession of Class A and received a police caution.

A 55-year-old man from Banbury was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and possession of class A drugs and has also been bailed until July 14.

Sgt David Keith from Banbury police station said:  “The action undertaken by our local officers shows that where our communities voice their concerns police will listen, respond and where appropriate take action against those who engage in criminality and affect the lives of our communities."
