THE A4260 Oxford Road in Bodicote has now been cleared after a crash involving a car and a van.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Lucy Billen said officers were called at 5.50am after a collision between a black Pegeout 206 car and a grey Fiat Ducato van.
Debris partially blocked the road after the incident near Bannatyne’s Health Club Gym, in Oxford Road.
Motorists faced slow traffic in both directions between Bankside, Bodicote and Twyford Road, Adderbury but this has now been cleared.
Spokeswoman Ms Billen said a woman who was driving the car was trapped after the crash.
And South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman Gillian Hodgetts said a woman was taken to the Horton Hospital.
