Burglars broke into a home in Sinclair Avenue, Banbury, through a patio door, but did not steal anything.
Police said the incident between 6pm on October 25 and 1.35am on October 26, was linked to another burglary, in Windrush, which involved three men, who were seen fleeing a property later found to have been burgled via the rear patio door. Jewellery was stolen from the house.
The three burglars are white, “of average height and build” and in their early 20s.
A VW Golf was seen leaving at speed.
