A crash involving two lorries and a car on the M40 has caused more traffic problems in the county.

The collision happened on the northbound lane between Junction 10 for Brackley and Junction 11 for Banbury.

Police were called just after noon and said that the lane, which was closed, has been reopened.

The ambulance service also attended.

Earlier today there was a six-car accident on the A40, as well as another crash at the Headington Roundabout. A fallen tree that was blocking the A40 at Aston Hill has been cleared.

Road works are also causing delays, as the eight-month works to widen the A420 London Road began today.
