Two men arrested as part of a crackdown on metal theft have been charged with attempting to acquire criminal property.
Peter Smith, 68, and Tommy Smith, 36, both of Bloxham Road, were bailed to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on December 14.
Two men, aged 23 and 31, who were answering bail on suspicion of the same offence, had their bail extended until Monday.
They were arrested after a raid on scrapyard Smiths of Bloxham on May 29.
Six people arrested during a similar raid at TR Rogers & Sons, Nuneham Courtenay, are due to answer bail tomorrow.
