Taxi rank fine

A 29-year-old man has been fined £100 for illegally parking in a marked taxi rank.
Huseyin Colak, of Bath Street, Abingdon, admitted parking on the rank in March when he appeared before Oxford Magistrates last month.
Yvonne Constance, cabinet member for licensing at Vale of White Horse District Council, said: “Taxi ranks are for taxi drivers only.”
