A MAN from the Abingdon area has been arrested as part of nationwide police raids on suspected internet paedophiles.
The 43-year-old was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of possession of indecent images and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
He was bailed until November 16 and police have said they will not be giving any more details at this stage.
Some 76 people have been arrested across the country in the raids this week and they are said to include a Scout leader, a retired teacher and members of the armed forces.
