A colourful dragon snaked its way through Culham to officially mark the beginning of Chinese New Year.
All 36 children from Culham Parochial Primary School danced through the village on Friday with the 20ft dragon they’d made themselves.
School spokesman Caroline Evans said: “We invited all the parents along and the children walked up the Glebe in Culham.
“They were playing Chinese music and drums and then they all came back to the school to enjoy a Chinese feast.
“The children all loved it. They really enjoyed learning songs and about Chinese customs too.”
Pupil Elliot Gray, 11, said: “We have been doing different activities around school to celebrate the year of the dragon.
“I have enjoyed making a paper plate dragon head using recycled egg boxes.”
India Yue, five, said: “My favourite part was making a bookmark and eating yummy prawn crackers.”
And six-year-old Caden Thomas added: “My favourite part was painting the huge dragon because it was fun and we got to paint in straight edges.”
