The Abingdon Marathon, cancelled last year due to lack of volunteers, will be back up and running this year.
Organisers, the Abingdon Amblers' Athletics Club, has announced that the marathon will be held on Sunday, October 19, this year.
It will be the 25th marathon.
David Berger, member of the club, said it was cancelled the previous year as it became too big for the club.
This year, members from other local clubs will be helping out.
