GOLFER Eddie Pepperell proudly sported his Helen and Douglas House Hospice cap during his opening round at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth today.
The Abingdon golfer shot a level-par 72 in his first round wearing one of the caps, which are set to raise cash and awareness for the charity
Pepperell, from Sutton Courtenay, will wear the headwear for the remainder of the championship, which are broadcast live on Sky Sports.
The 27-year-old visited the cash-strapped East Oxford hospice earlier this month and said he was 'amazed' by the care given to so many people.
Following the visit, Pepperell set up a Just Giving page for the charity and has already raised almost £8,000.
