POLICE are investigating reports that a woman in her 30s was raped in Abingdon.
The incident is said to have happened on Saturday, March, 10 between 10.30pm and 11pm.
The woman was approached by a man in Bath Street, between the Black Swan pub and Stratton Way and then raped.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Jack Abell said:“Officers are in the area carrying out a thorough investigation into the incident and the victim is receiving support from specially trained officers. No arrests have been made.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information which could be relevant to this investigation, should call Thames Valley Police on the non-emergency number 101.”
