A TEENAGER who dodged prison for drug-dealing two months ago has avoided custody again after being caught with a bag of cannabis.

Dean McAllister, of Northcourt Walk, Abingdon, received a community order with a requirement to carry out 100 hours’ work last December.

Oxford Crown Court heard on Thursday the 19-year-old had only completed six hours of the order when he was found with more drugs in February.

John Law, prosecuting, told the court police carried out a spot check on a car containing four men in Milton Road, Abingdon, on the night of February 11. A bag of cannabis was found in the glove box in front of where McAllister was sitting and he admitted it was his but said it was only for personal use.
