TWO people had to be cut out of their car by firefighters after they crashed on the A40 near Burford yesterday.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called out at 8.45pm last night.
Three fire engines were deployed from Burford, Bampton and Kidlington, along with police and the ambulance service.
They discovered the car had left the road and crashed into a field.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to safely remove both people, and said their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Station manager Nick Bourke said “Fire and rescue crews worked closely with the ambulance service to ensure that we freed the injured people from the vehicle as soon as possible.
"Now that winter is approaching and the road conditions are changing I would urge drivers to take care and adjust their driving techniques to suit the prevailing conditions."
