The owner of a dog rescued from the streets in Serbia have appealed for help in finding her after she went missing.

Michele Rodriguez, from Chalgrove, said she was deseprate to find Dana after she ran away in Berkshire.

Ms Rodriguez had taken Dana and her other dog Freddy to visit her partner's parents in Langley on June 18th when the rescue dog got frightened and escaped from their garden in Meadefield Road through a gap in the gate.

Since then she has been spotted in Langley, Iver and Datchet and was last seen by the canal in the area on July 22.

Ms Rodriguez said: "We are all missing her so very much and our lives have been turned upside down by her going missing.

"Freddy has been lonely, not to mention a tad grumpy, since his brother passed away two years previously but Dana transformed him totally, giving him a new lease of life and making him happy again.

"Now Freddy is sad, lonely and grumpy and it is breaking our hearts seeing him like this.

"She was our ray of sunshine and happiness and we are all so very sad to not have her in our lives right now.

"We are desperate to get her back and make our little family complete again."

Dana was found in the Serbian capital Belgrade and came to the UK in February 2016 after being rescued by charity Forgotten Paws.

She was suffering from severe demodectic mange, a painful skin condition.

She has since fully recovered and Ms Rodriguez, 49, plans to run the Oxford Half Marathon in October in aid of Serbia's Forgotten Paws.
